Landmark Home Improvement LLC has the unique opportunity to bring a set of experiences to the table in a way that other remodeling companies cannot.  Our Owner, Derek, spent several seasons working as a Project Manager for ABC TV's hit TV show Extreme Makeover-Home Edition.  As a Project Manager, his role was to manage the design, planning and construction of a home for a well deserving family.  This role took him to many different locations across the United States working with many different local governments and municipalities in the planning stages of these projects.  Derek  worked closely with the shows designers to implement a design that would also fit within the guidelines of each different municipality and local area.  He still works with these designers today on the projects for Landmark Home Improvement LLC.  Derek's  largest role with the show came during the one week build process (yes, the stuff that actually makes it to TV) where he was one of 4-6 Project Managers supervising the construction of the home.  This involved overseeing several hundred sub-contractors and volunteers to complete such a lofty task in less than 7 days all the while maintaining each local areas code compliance.  This experience gave Derek the ability to prioritize, manage and overcome challenging situations.  He is well versed in working with HOA's and local governing bodies.  Derek has also worked on other TV programs as well supervised and constructed several projects for television.   Most recently completely remodeling a Dallas fire station along with the Dallas Cowboys and Ford Motor Company for TV spot during the Thanksgiving NFL halftime show. And also, working to build an outdoor kitchen and living space for a local foster care facility along side the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL.


It is no doubt that at some point in time, you very well could have seen an episode of ABC's Extreme Makeover-Home Edition and been watching an episode/build that Mr. Lofgreen was jointly responsible for completing.
